Conditions Helped by the Alexander Technique

At the risk of appearing to pretend that the Alexander Technique is a cure for all ills (which it isn't), I include a list of conditions that the Alexander Technique can help with. (Many thanks to The Good Health Preview Directory for providing a list for me to pick from):-

Arthritis, Asthma, back pain, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, chronic pain syndrome, Circulatory Problems, Constipation, cramps, digestive disorders, Eyestrain, Face Pain, Hay Fever, Headache, Hernia, injured muscles, Insomnia, Irritable Bowel syndrome, knee pain, Leg Cramps, low back pain, Migraine, Motion Sickness, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscle Pain, Nasal Congestion, Neck Problems, Osteoporosis, Pain, Parkinson's Disease, Performance Anxiety, Photophobia, Pregnancy Problems, Premenstrual Syndrome, Prolapse of the Uterus, Repetitive Strain Injury, Respiratory Ailments, Sciatica, Scoliosis, Shoulder Pain, Sinus Problems, slipped disk, Spondylitis, Strain, Stress, stuttering, TMJ Syndrome, tennis elbow, Tired Eyes, Whiplash.

Although the causes of these conditions are very wide-ranging, there is one common cause which either underlies or exacerbates them all. The Alexander Technique helps by enabling patients to deal with this common cause. I have already written in detail about some of them and hope to include more specific information about all of them in due course.

In the meantime, almost every page of Alexanderworks deals with some aspect of the problem. My home page is a good place to start investigating. So are the pages listed under the "The Problem" heading in the navigation bar.

If you wish to check the applicability of the Alexander Technique to one of these conditions, please email your request to me. I will give you a personal reply and post the answer up on this site. (As a matter of policy, your privacy will be respected by withholding all personal details).
